Yawnkiller

Nobody finishes a form
that doesn’t move.

Yawnkiller turns plain text into surveys people actually finish. Giant type, kinetic transitions and a results card worth a screenshot.

Five themes

Same questions. Five ways to move.

Each theme brings its own type, palette and choreography. Not a color swap. A different dance.

  • Kinetic

    Free

Heavy grotesk, letters rise from masks, colour wipes out from your click.

  • Brutal

    Pro

Mono and display type, hard cuts, scrambled text, your answer on a marquee.

  • Editorial

    Free

Serif headlines, italic accents, lines that slide in like a magazine spread.

  • Pop

    Pro

Round, loud, elastic. Options squash when you pick them. Confetti at the end.

  • Liquid

    Pro

Soft blobs drift behind frosted glass. Everything morphs, nothing jumps.

Claude, make me a survey.

Add one line to Claude Code, or a few to Claude Desktop or Cursor. Then ask for a survey the way you would ask a colleague. You get a public link, a results link and your admin link back.

Plain text

If you can write a list, you can write a form.

One line per question. Options start with a dash. A tag in brackets changes the type. That is the whole manual.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Where do the answers live?

On Cloudflare. The app runs as a Cloudflare Worker and every form and answer sits in a Cloudflare D1 database. Fonts are self hosted. Your respondents' browsers talk to us and nobody else.

Do you track the people who fill in my form?

No cookies, no ad pixels, no fingerprinting, no analytics scripts by default. To stop spam we keep salted hashes of IP addresses, never the addresses themselves. If we ever switch on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it is cookieless and the privacy policy will say so.

Can I get my answers out?

Every answer shows up in your admin view, with charts per question. Pro adds a CSV export: one click, every answer, one row each.

Who owns my forms and the answers?

You do. You decide what to ask, we store it and process it on your behalf. Delete a form and its answers are deleted with it.

No login? How do I get back to my form?

When you publish, you get an admin link. That link is your key. We only keep a hash of it, so we can't recover a lost one. Your browser also remembers your forms under My forms, but save the link somewhere safe.

Someone made a nasty form. What now?

Every form has a “Report abuse” link at the bottom. Phishing, collecting passwords, spam, hate and anything illegal gets taken down. You can also write to hello@yawnkiller.com.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. You pay once through Polar and get a license key. Paste it into the Pro page in any browser you use and Pro is on. Refunds follow Polar's policy.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. Tap, swipe up for the next question, down to go back. Big touch targets, works from 360 pixels wide. On a laptop it is keyboard first: letters pick, Enter moves on.

Your next form deserves better than a fade.
